Welcome to the Meyer Angus Ranch of Campbell, Nebraska.  We produce and sell Registered Angus Bulls for the commercial cattleman who wants to improve herd genetics at a fair price.  We breed for balanced offspring with emphasis on carcass quality, thickness,  good maternal characteristics, and an excellent disposition.  We A.I. most of our cows with semen from the top bulls in the Angus breed, ensuring that the bull we sell you is equipped with the best genetics possible.

We currently run 170 cows and sell 50 bulls per year - mostly private treaty sales within a 150 mile radius. Our 2000 yearling bulls have been selling well, but we do have some excellent bulls still available.

Circle A 216 LTD 9037

son of SVF GDAR 216 LTD

Looking to the future, we recently purchased a new herd sire at the 2000 National Western Stock Show.  Circle A 216 LTD 9037 is a son of SVF GDAR 216 LTD, the most sought after carcass sire in the Angus breed.  We feel this addition will allow us to produce bulls that have the outstanding carcass quality traits that will let you produce and sell Certified Angus Beef.  This son of SVF GDAR 216 LTD will increase the carcass quality traits of Meyer Angus Bulls.  SVF GDAR 216 LTD had a +.21 marbling, +.47 rib eye, and +30 carcass weight EPD.  With the demand for Certified Angus Beef and the premiums that can be earned, carcass quality can not be underestimated.  We eagerly anticipate the first set of calves from LTD 9037 and look forward to being able to offer them to you.

Our ranch is 2 1/4 east, 1 south, 1/4 east of Campbell in South-Central Nebraska.  In addition to 170 head of cattle, we raise corn, wheat, beans, milo, and alfalfa in our diversified operation.

Meyer Krugerrand IO320  won his class and sold for $2400 at the 2000 Cattlemen's Classic in Kearney, Nebraska.  Actual weaning weight was 720 pounds.
